We can all agree: Ultra-processed food consumption seems a poor idea. Alas, very few diet recommendations are based on high-level evidence. Even this study is retrospective and significantly flawed. I go back to basic principles: Moderation, eating some plants, getting some rest, not smoking, not using excessive alcohol, and staying away from drugs like opioids where possible.
