Vern, good observations, but it does remind us that the many of us who take vitamin D may not be getting the boost in levels that we think we are getting. Of course, there can be benefits for bone health, but the trials using vitamin D to reduce, say, cancer risk, have been disappointing. Thank you for reading the piece and for your insights!
