Thomas, I feel your pain. I too am stuck with decaf generally, as caffeine in higher doses makes me feel as if I am having a stroke (imbalance for about 24 hours). I can sneak in the occasional espresso, but not drip. We get cheated out of the best-tasting stuff, but we still get that aroma… As for cancer, it’s the coffee that reduces risk. Except for skin cancer, where it seems to be the caffeine!
