This guy who had a marinara meat sauce with his pasta today doesn’t completely see it that way. I am intrigued by the observation, and whether it might be a marker that helps explain (either by causality or association). I am always wary of diet studies as they are so challenging to control and require long-term follow-up. I think of this study as hypothesis-generating. Thanks for taking the time to read my piece and to offer provocative commentary!
