The Japanese often don't exercise in the way many of we Americans think of exercise. Not a lot of gym visits in Okinawa, for example. Yes, gentle stretching (available on TV) is common, but it is not exercise the way many of us think. The point is: Just move. Walk to the store or your neighbors. You don't have to do vigorous exercise to reap the benefits of physical activity. Have a rich social fabric. Thanks for you Q and Happy 2022!
