I look forward to better understanding how we are changing the microbiome, with processed foods, etc. I am impressed with how consistently Mediterranean diet does on several measures, esp in the cardiovascular realm. Thanks for your observations. I think you point to something important: It will not be simple to fix the ills of we Americans when it comes to being overweight and obese. But, we must do better. As you know from my posts, I am obsessed with getting folks to simply move more.
