Thank you for your kind words. Such drugs are used for functioning, hormone-producing pituitary adenomas. The one you cite is appropriate for hyperprolactinemia (high levels of the hormone prolactin). I had a so-called null adenoma, with no hormone abnormalities to remedy. With a visual field cut, even if I had a functioning lesion, I would have been taken urgently to the operating theater, before I lost even more of my right eye peripheral vision. I had noticed, while reading, that the end of the sentences disappeared. Thank you for your kind words and good question.
