Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Tony. As you know, I am an oncologist specializing in breast cancer. While I agree that most patients with the condition will never know, with reasonable certainty, why they got breast cancer, I will continue to work to reduce the chances that one in three of my would-be future patients never arrives. As you know, having suffered through this terrible disease through a loved one, any reduction is meaningful. Your words are powerful; my only quibble - I would remove the "mere" from them. I see hundreds of (mostly) women with breast cancer each year, and if I could see 100 fewer, I would be delighted. I look forward to learning about your lovely Patricia and am so sorry to hear of your loss. Stories such as your remind us that we must do better.

Warm regards and appreciation,

Michael
