Thank you for reading the piece and the education about magnitude of improvement with statins. I look forward to looking at your references and getting input from some cardiology thought leaders that are evidence-based in their recommendations. Again, thank you. I am particularly interested in looking beyond the overall group to particular subgroups (such as you have referenced). I actually would consider the statin, based on the stat you provided, IF I had heart disease (I do not to my knowledge, but my dad died of it at 85).

For now, I will continue with my lifestyle approach, pending the Frankenfoods! I hope you have a joy-filled weekend.
