Intriguing observation, seemingly en point to me. Thanks for sharing. The researcher is the tops at creating randomized clinical trials on running shoes. He tweaks innumerable variables in the shoe without the participants being aware. I think this study shows that for the overall population studied, cushioning reduces injury rate among runners. On the other hand, each individual likely has an optimal approach, some barefoot, others wearing "pillows."

Warm regards,

Michael
