I use many strategies, including exercise. I am pleased that doing so allows me to dodge statins (with it's significant potential toxicities, including headache.

dizziness, feeling sick., feeling unusually tired or physically weak., digestive system problems, such as constipation, diarrhea, indigestion, gas, etc. Not to mention muscle pain, sleep challenges, and drops in platelet counts. Statins are valuable for many, but if we can avoid them through lifestyle maneuvers (and less toxic supplements), all the better. I could add niacin, but given one supplement is working sufficiently, why two? (On another thread of thought, those on statins may not get benefits from adding niacin, as I recall) Thank you for reading the piece and for your insightful questions.
