I truly get your point and am saddened that anyone made you feel that way. I think one important takeaway isn't simply that we all need to be unrealistic about weight management - rather, the piece reminds me that our bodies have set points and not to blame ourselves too much when those who choose to lose weight - can't get past a certain point. Thank you for the reminder that we are each on our own journey. I think a study key point we agree on is this: Diminishing returns. And there is no place for judgment. I am blessed to have grown up in a black family; the culture seems more forgiving (less judgmental) about weight. I appreciate you.
