I do not mean to imply that that everyone should do what I do. We all live in the realm of the possible. For those who sit all day, it may be simply standing for a few minutes. For those who stand all day, they may steal 75 steps here or there (for example, my alluding to my matching in place). Any movement matters; there may be options for even those confined to a wheelchair, for example. As I am fond of saying, just move (in place, in nature, in the gym, in the garden, at the coffee shop, etc. My patients who work in coffee shops sometimes use their breaks to get in a few steps. Others get 150 minutes of activity on their days off). Thank you for letting me clarify this and hope you have a joy-filled day.
