I disagree.

1. Apples are considered low glycemic because they have a GI of 14–28. They are high in fiber and contain natural sugars that can satisfy a sweet tooth. Apples and peanut butter can be a healthy snack, even for people with diabetes because they contain: fiber, protein, and healthy fats.

2. Air-popped popcorn has a GI of around 55, which is considered low to mAs you moderate. As you know, the GI is a scale from 1–100 that measures how quickly sugars from food enter the bloodstream.

3. Mixed nuts and seeds are generally low on the glycemic index (GI) and are a good choice for people who want to improve blood sugar control.
