I could not agree with you more, Jennifer. Moreover, males are even more likely to get HPV-related oropharyngeal carcinoma. I am not aware of any vaccine that has achieved optimal success by giving it to one sex only. Glad the FDA came around and added boys to the list, but still surprised they weren't initially included in the recommendations.
