I am increasingly struck by how little it takes to advance health. The simple act of standing every 45 minutes improves cardiovascular health. Do I want more? Sure, ideally 150 minutes of the equivalent of a brisk walk weekly (for example, 30 minutes for 5 days per week, minimum ten-minute intervals). I think 250 minutes weekly is a good goal for cardiovascular health. Your point is well-taken, but the amount required to improve overall health (as opposed to optimizing cardiovascular health) is different. Thank you so much for joining, and for your kind words, Amy.
