I agree that we should never use BMI in a vacuum. It has some utility, but are spot on bout its perils. I personally was "overweight" for years when I was weightlifting six days a week and put on 20 # of muscle. Context is everything! Thanks K for your reading the piece and the important reminder to take BMI with the proverbial grain of salt.
