Herb, I too sometimes wonder if we have swung too far in the direction of avoiding all sun. I grant there is a risk of skin cancer (less worried about basal cell carcinoma than squamous or melanoma types), but psychological well-being, etc. are sometimes forgotten. Seems like for most things, moderation is key (avoiding sunburns, for example). Thanks for reading the piece and for your observations. Enjoy sunny Florida!
